Zimbabwe Police Reveal Identities Of Convicted Armed Robbers

In a major law enforcement crackdown, the Zimbabwe Republic Police has publicly released the names of criminals convicted and sentenced for serious offences. The statement, dated September 18, 2025, covered convictions up to September 16, 2025. It listed individuals jailed for armed robbery, murder, carjacking, unlawful entry, and large-scale theft.

The police described the convictions as a result of close cooperation with the public and urged citizens to continue supplying information to help dismantle criminal networks.

Dangerous robbers and violent thieves brought to justice

Several violent offenders were sentenced in Harare earlier this month. On the 6th of September 2025, Kundiso Mlambo (22), Noel Gandazha (32), and Takudzwa Mazhambe (29) were jailed for armed robbery. The court heard how the three men attacked a victim on 3rd July 2025 and stole a bag containing clothes and a cellphone. Each received a five-year prison term.

In another case, Garikai Zhelende (30) was convicted on the 8th of September 2025 for armed robbery and unlawful entry. He was handed an eight-year sentence after targeting people along secluded paths and stealing cash, clothing, and valuables. He also broke into a church and a school, taking utensils, drums, and roofing sheets.
