Reference is made to the Zimbabwe Republic Police press statement released on 19th June 2024 on the fatal road traffic accident which occurred at the 37 kilometre peg along Harare-Bindura Road near Mazowe Dam on 18th June 2024 at around 1345 hours.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police releases the names of the remaining four victims who were identified by their next of kin as listed:-
Wankisi Kipani (54),a male adult of Unit L, Chitungwiza.
- Lonely Larfield Mbeve (24),a male adult of Honde Village, Mbire.
- Anastance Jackson (3),a female juvenile of Plot 12, Mt Pannis, Centenary.
- Anopaishe Jackson (3)a female juvenile of Plot 12 , Mt Pannis Centenary.
Two injured victims were transferred from Concession Hospital to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals whilst four were transferred to Bindura Provincial Hospital. Two injured victims were treated and discharged at Concession Hospital.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police continues to implore drivers to be responsible and road safety conscious on the roads.
