Sadza man arrested for assaulting son with axe

Police in Mashonaland East Province have arrested Titus Bhunga (77) for allegedly assaulting his son Washington (36) with an axe following a misunderstanding.  It is reported that the misunderstanding arose when Bhunga bought beer for Washington’s wife Netsai Kanerutsine.

Three Buhera family members found dead

Police have launched investigations into a case in which three family members were found dead in a well on February 29, this year. In a statement, national police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the cause of death was still not known.
