physically and medically fit, interested in joining the Zimbabwe Republic Police in the following categories: &#8211;<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General Duty Constable<\/li>\n<li>Construction Technician and Artisan<\/li>\n<li>Tailor Technician<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>General Duty Constable<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>General Duty Constables shall train for a period of one <strong><b>[01] <\/b><\/strong>year at Mkushi Police Academy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Requirements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Potential applicants should meet the following: &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aged <strong>18 \u2013 25 <\/strong>years[eligible candidates should have attained <strong>18<\/strong>\u00a0years as at <strong>11\/06\/26<\/strong>\u00a0and must not be more than <strong>25<\/strong>\u00a0years by <strong>20\/09\/26.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A minimum of five [<strong>05<\/strong>] Ordinary levelpasses, which include <strong>Mathematics, English Language and any other Science subject<\/strong>\u00a0attained in not more than <strong>two [02]<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Interested applicants should<\/strong>: &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be physically and medically fit.<\/li>\n<li>Have a minimum height of <strong>1,65m<\/strong>[<strong><b>barefoot<\/b><\/strong>] and weigh not less than <strong>55 kg<\/strong>\u00a0for males<\/li>\n<li>Have a minimum height of <strong>1,58m<\/strong>[<strong><b>barefoot<\/b><\/strong>] and weigh in proportion to height for female candidates.<\/li>\n<li>Be prepared to complete a <strong>5 Km<\/strong>Road run in <strong>20<\/strong>\u00a0minutes for males and <strong>25<\/strong> minutes for females.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><b>B-<\/b><\/strong> <strong><b>Construction <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b><strong><b>Artisans<\/b><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These comprise of: &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><b><i>Bricklayer, Carpenter, Tiler, Plumber, Painter, Electrician, Welder\/ Boilermaker\/Fabrication engineering technician and Refrigeration Mechanic<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong><strong><em><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aged <strong>18 \u2013 30 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Have a minimum of five (<strong>05<\/strong>) \u2018<strong><b>O<\/b><\/strong>\u2019 Level passes with grade \u2018C<strong><b>\u2019<\/b><\/strong>or better, including English Language and Mathematics obtained in not more than three (<strong>03<\/strong>) sittings.<\/li>\n<li>Should be a holder of journeyman class one (<strong><b>01<\/b><\/strong>) category, a national certificate or Diploma in relevant field obtained from a recognized institution.<\/li>\n<li>At least two (<strong><b>02<\/b><\/strong>) years practical industrial experience will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Apprenticeship trained.<\/li>\n<li>Be physically and medically fit.<\/li>\n<li>Have a good background with no previous convictions.<strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b><strong><b>Technicians<\/b><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These comprise of: &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Civil Engineering Technicians, Quantity Surveyor and Archtectural Technicians<\/b><\/strong><strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aged <strong>18 \u2013 30<\/strong>years.<\/li>\n<li>Have a minimum of five (<strong>05<\/strong>) \u2018<strong><b>O<\/b><\/strong>\u2019 Level passes with grade \u2018C<strong><b>\u2019<\/b><\/strong>or better, including English Language and Mathematics obtained in not more than three (<strong>03<\/strong>) sittings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Be a holder of a national certificate or diploma in relevant field, obtained from a recognized institution.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least two (<strong><b>02<\/b><\/strong>) years practical industrial experience will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Be physically and medically fit.<\/li>\n<li>Have a good background with no previous convictions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong><b>Tailor Technician<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These comprise of: &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Industrial Clothing Technology, Industrial Clothing Machine Mechanics, \u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Clothing Fashion Designing, Clothing Design and Construction<\/b><\/strong><strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aged <strong>18 \u2013 30<\/strong>years.<\/li>\n<li>Have a minimum of five (<strong>05<\/strong>) \u2018<strong><b>O<\/b><\/strong>\u2019 Level passes with grade \u2018C<strong><b>\u2019<\/b><\/strong>or better, including English Language and Mathematics obtained in not more than three (<strong>03<\/strong>) sittings.<\/li>\n<li>Be a holder of a National Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Textile Engineering or Textile Studies in the relevant field, obtained from a recognised institution.<\/li>\n<li>At least two (<strong><b>02<\/b><\/strong>) years practical industrial experience will be an added advantage<strong><b>. <\/b><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Be physically and medically fit.<\/li>\n<li>Have a good background with no previous convictions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Applicants are to submit their hand written application letters with at least two (02) contact numbers, life history of between 450 to 500 words, copy of identity document and certified copies of educational\/ professional qualifications in person to the Officer in Charge of the nearest Police Station where they stay on or before Wednesday, 24 June 2026.
