\u00a0<\/strong>The Zimbabwe Republic Police<\/strong> is investigating a callous multiple murder incident which occurred on the night of 11th<\/sup> December 2025<\/strong> at Plot 9, Ona Farm, Guruve.<\/p>\n

A suspect identified as Anymore Zvitsva allegedly murdered five members of the same family, a female adult, her two children and two grandchildren. The victims have been identified as Grace Zvitsva (66)<\/strong>, Loice Chiringaushe (37)<\/strong>, Takudzwa Kariva (five years<\/strong>), Tatenda Chirenje (two years)<\/strong> and Tendai Zvitsva (40)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Initial investigations revealed that a neighbour was awakened by noise emanating from the victims\u2019 homestead and responded promptly. Upon arrival, the neighbour who was in the company of two villagers observed bloodstains at the kitchen doorstep and found Tendai Zvitsva<\/strong> unconscious and bleeding profusely with deep cuts on the chest. Further inspection revealed extensive bloodstains around the homestead with the bodies of Grace Zvitsva<\/strong>, Loice Chiringaushe<\/strong>, Takudzwa Kariva<\/strong> and Tatenda Chirenje<\/strong> lying in the main bedroom.<\/p>\n

The search continued in other rooms leading to the rescue of five of Grace Zvitsva<\/strong>\u2019s grandchildren who had been sleeping in a spare bedroom and were found unharmed.<\/p>\n

Tendai Zvitsva<\/strong> was rushed to Guruve Hospital, where he died upon admission.<\/p>\n

The Zimbabwe Republic Police<\/strong> has intensified the search for the suspect with the aid of drone technology and manhunt teams comprising Support Unit, Criminal Investigations Department, Canine, Horse patrols and intelligence units to conduct close surveillance in the forest and mountain where the suspect is alleged to be hiding.<\/p>\n

The community which include traditional leaders have also teamed up with the police to ensure that the suspect is arrested.<\/p>\n

The suspect is also linked to the recent murder cases in Zimuna Village, Chief Bepura where Pamela Chipangura<\/strong>, Kudzai Chipangura<\/strong> and Tawand Chipangura<\/strong> were killed in circumstances under probe by the police.<\/p>\n
