{"id":8089,"date":"2025-02-18T07:24:31","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T07:24:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.zrp.gov.zw\/?p=8089"},"modified":"2025-02-18T07:24:31","modified_gmt":"2025-02-18T07:24:31","slug":"zrp-press-statement-7th-february-2025-zrp-statement-on-touts-and-rank-marshals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zrp.gov.zw\/?p=8089","title":{"rendered":"ZRP PRESS STATEMENT : 7TH FEBRUARY 2025 &#8211; ZRP STATEMENT ON TOUTS AND RANK MARSHALS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Zimbabwe Republic Police<\/strong>\u00a0has noted with concern the persistent disruptions of public transport services at termini and some undesignated pick-up points by touts, rank marshals and hooligans whose activities are not only disrupting public transport but also endangering the well-being of commuters across the country.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Touts and rank marshals have been observed loading vehicles in the middle of roads and at undesignated places, leading to traffic chaos and hindrances to smooth vehicular movement.
